STREATOR – East 12th Street from Illinois Street to Cleveland Avenue in Streator will continue to be closed for the next month. The 12th Street project that began last year will continue until the end of the year. Over a mile of the street will be repaired. The project also includes sidewalks, storm drains, sewers, and gutters. Detour signs are posted. Semi-trucks will be required to follow the detour signs to stay on appropriate truck routes.
