UNDATED – Congressman Adam Kinzinger spoke to media on Tuesday to provide an update on his efforts to restore the integrity of the GOP. Kinzinger continues to defend his stance on voting to impeach former President Donald Trump, saying he’s putting it all on the line. Kinzinger voted to Impeach Trump following the rioters attack on the Capitol.
Since then, Kinzinger has received some backlash in his district, namely the LaSalle County Republicans voting to censure Kinzinger, with apparent unsolicited support from over 40 county Republican Central Committees around the state.
