STREATOR – The Illinois 170-Norfolk Southern Railways grade crossing, west of Budd will be closed Monday. It will be closed for seven days to allow the Norfolk Souther Railways to rebuild their crossing. IL 170 northbound traffic will proceed west IL 17 to IL 18, then north on IL 18 to County Highway 40, then east on County Highway 40 to IL 170. Southbound traffic will proceed west on County Highway 40 to IL 18, then south on IL 18 to IL 17, then east of IL 17 back to IL 170. Motorists are urged to use caution and expect delays while driving through work zones.
